New energy technologies have allowed the United States to transition from an importer to an exporter of natural gas, but they also bring new challenges for safely managing and controlling onshore resources. Nuclear power provides the largest source of low-carbon electricity in the United States – but also has issues regarding storage and waste management. Experts in this session discuss the current energy outlook in the U.S. as well as issues concerning renewable energy sources, safe nuclear energy and management and efficiency policies.
