Air Travel

There are three international airports that service the Washington, D. C., metropolitan area. The nearest airport to the conference is Reagan National Airport (DCA), which has its own Metro stop (Blue/Yellow lines).

Dulles International Airport (IAD) and Baltimore/Washington International Airport (BWI) also serve the D. C. metropolitan area but are farther away and do not have direct Metro access.

Local Transportation

Taxicabs are abundant throughout the district. With more than 6,000 servicing the city, Washington, D. C., has one of the highest ratios of taxis per person. Currently, taxis use a metered system just like every other city in the USA.
