Chris has worked in political communications in a variety of roles, serving public officials at the Nevada Senate, the U.S. Senate, and on the campaign trail. Since 2009, he has served as a Congressional Liaison for the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS). He helps scientists deliver their work to policymakers across the political spectrum and stakeholders from citizens to NGOs. The USGS provides unbiased Earth science for the nation by, for example, assessing energy resources, monitoring stream flows, and understanding ecosystem response to climate change. Chris has a B.A. in International Affairs and a B.A. in German from the University of Nevada, Reno.
